Question 1

What’s on my plate?

Small, actionable asks — each one question or one answer. Answer it, or split it into achievable parts — replying is completing.

Question 2

What am I waiting on?

Every ask you’ve sent, who owes you an answer, and for how long. Accountability runs both ways.

Question 3

What happened so far?

Every co-task carries its whole history, back to the first request — and your logs are plain text you can search.

A task that can’t be quietly ignored

A co-task is not an email and not a todo. It’s both, welded:

  • Reply needed means an answer is owed — and everyone can see it’s owed.
  • It carries its whole history, back to the first request.
  • Too big? Split it into parts you can actually do.
  • Not now? Snooze it — it returns on the day you chose.
  • Answering is completing: say it’s done and it’s off your plate.

Different from email, on purpose

Short by design

One question or one answer per co-task — never a dissertation to dread.

Shared by design

You work with the people you add, one conversation at a time — and you see each other’s asks and pitch in.

Accountable by design

Asks carry due dates and reply-obligations that don’t evaporate in an inbox.

Built by two partners who needed to work together, like crazy — since 2004.
